The Hydrodynamics Group, LLC is an ensemble of some of the
Country’s leading experts in the earth sciences. The Group was created
by Dr. Bredehoeft, a nationally recognized expert in hydrogeology, with
the vision that a team of seasoned hydrogeologists, geologists,
engineering geologists, and petroleum engineers could provide
principal-level consulting expertise for a wide spectrum of ground
water resources, engineering geology, and gas storage projects
throughout the world.
The Hydrodynamics Group is an applied geological engineering
research firm specializing in studies of mass and energy transport in
the earth. TheHydrodynamics Group is unique in providing only
principal-level individuals to work on our clients complex engineering
project problems. With the Hydrodynamics Group the principals proposing
work are the individuals who do the work. Technical leadership means
there is no learning at the job’s expense.
Group members owned consulting, drilling, and software firms, and
managed divisions within major consulting firms and government. Each
team member brings professional expertise as demonstrated by long and
successful professional careers.
Overhead is kept to an absolute minimum by our corporate organization
with each Group member maintaining a satellite office which is linked
electronically. We maintain the flexibility to work in our client’s
